INTRODUCTION OF ASADSV
The Alliance continues to strengthen, develop and formalize existing services and systems to ensure the voices of survivors and those affected by family, domestic and dating violence are heard throughout the inhabited islands of our territory. We remain committed to developing culturally appropriate processes and systems to publicize and unearth the hidden and unspoken reality of domestic violence, to acknowledge the need for relevant and effective services and support for our island community. Our role in developing safe, viable, sustained and effective partnerships will ensure that the voices of survivors are heard. We are also significant in planning, defining, developing, and implementing culturally appropriate awareness, prevention and intervention approaches.
Our membership organizations address these forms of violence, impact and guide public policy, educate the public, and provide resources to all those working to address these specific forms of violence in our Territory.
